Biblical Advice on Food

Biblical Interview

1. Question : Do you believe that God created all foods to be healthy to eat or are there certain foods that should be avoided?

Answer: If God created something to be eaten then it is good to eat.  Again all things in moderation, too much of anything is not good.  The thing that has to be considered is the fact that God created everyone differently and what is good for some people may not be for others.  So it would be difficult to make a blanket statement on this or many of the questions.

2. Question : Is there anything different how a Bible believer eats food compared to a non-Bible believer?

Answer: I think we all pretty much eat our food the same.  But more seriously I would hope that as believers we remember our bodies are temples and take care of them.  Also the Bible speaks of the sin of gluttony.

3.Question :  Does a God fearing man or woman have a responsibility to for what we eat?

Answer: We all reap what we sow, or are what we eat, so everyone is responsible for what they do or eat.

4. Question : Are there any verses in the Bible that would show how to be healthy?

Answer: I do not claim to be a bible scholar.  I Think the Bible speaks more to principle of how to be healthy not specifics.

5. Question : Do you operate your restaurant/ dining-hall different than other businesses?

Answer: I surely hope so.  I try to operate with honesty and integrity.  I also like to think that I conduct my life in a way that is different from most of the world (non-believers).

6. Question : Do you feel like man is playing like God by tampering with the genes of different foods that are effecting our health?

Answer: I always question how man thinks he can improve on what God has created.  That is not to say I do not believe God has given some of us the ability to help others in need (doctors).
