"Healthy" is a word that has been often portrayed as an athlete that is shape. I looked up the word “healthy” at www.thefreedictionary.com and this is what it came up with: 1. Possessing good health.2. Conducive to good health; healthful: healthy air.3. Indicative of sound, rational thinking or frame of mind: a healthy attitude.4. Sizable; considerable: a healthy portion of potatoes; a healthy raise in salary. The definition does not give how to be healthy and here are some ways to stay or become healthy.
Physical activity is one aspect of staying healthy. It allows more oxygen in your blood which gives you more energy. Staying active increases muscle flexibility, that will reduce injures. Stress relief can be obtained by doing an activity that will take your mind off of a circumstance.
Eating a balanced meal of quality food is important for the body to repair and sustain itself. A variety of foods contain the nutrients needed to build a strong immune system, which are building blocks for a healthy body. Bread, fruits, vegetables, meat, and dairy are the basics food groups that are needed to have nutrition balance for your body. Water is important as well since the body is made up of 60% to 70% water.
Rest plays a big part in how you feel and react to your school work and occupation. It is our responsibility to get 6 to 8 hours of sleep a night. A way to attain a comfortable level of sleep requires the use time management. The body can recover on its own by using rest to heal itself.
These are three key objectives that can help you to stay healthy by using resources needed for the body.
